Crafts, Coffee, and Gingerbread -- Oh My!

Oh, the things our kids can craft.

Craftstravaganza!

This Friday, December 5th is our annual Craftstravaganza at Waite Park.  This is a FREE event!  There will be origami, cookie decorating, socializing, and (free!) light refreshments.  The PTA throws this every year, and it's a blast.  Bring your kids, your kids' friends, your friends' kids, and anybody else who enjoys crafting.  You can even pick up an extra order form for our coffee fundraiser.

Speaking of which...

It's Not Too Late!

You can still get your coffee and mug orders in, even as we speak!  The Powers That Be have extended the deadline, but this is our last chance.  Send your order forms in with your kids this week or come drop them off at the front office.  Fun fact: If every family buys/sells even two items, we'll make our fundraising goal!

And last, but most definitely not least...

PTA Meeting This Week!

Hopefully you've already heard about this in the Wildcat, via Facebook, or through emails from your class representative, but tomorrow, Thursday, Dec 3rd at 6:30pm, is our December PTA meeting.  We have special guests from Northeast Middle School (NEMS), the pathway school for Waite Park.  A panel consisting of Principal Ben Perry, Assistant Principal Laurie Lamberty, as well as current NEMS students and parents, will be there to answer any questions and tell you first hand of the great things happening right down the street at NEMS.

As always, childcare for children ages 3 and up will be provided, as well as light refreshments.  Please join us in the multipurpose room in the park (enter through Door 2).  Contact Amanda at 612-743- 4810 with any questions or translation needs.

Mmmm.  Gingerbread Houses...
Oh...and we're having a Gingerbread House Raffle.  That's right, anybody who shows up at our always exciting PTA meeting on Thursday gets the extra excitement of participating in a raffle for a free Gingerbread House.

Hope to see you there!
