It's that time of year again: Fall Fundraising! Each year, the PTA raises funds to support events and activities that enrich our children's educational experience: field trips, family events, track and field day, and school wide assemblies. We give out classroom grants, too, and this year we have some awesome grant requests that'll contribute to Waite Park's welcoming and inclusive environment (which we'll tell you about in some later posts!).
This fall, our goal is to raise $10,000 to support Waite Park Community School.
Ten thousand is a lot, and we need your help! There are two opportunities to contribute.
1. Make a straight donation. It's quick, it's easy, and 100% of the money goes directly to support activities which enhance and enrich your child's education. You can send cash or checks to school or donate online using the button on this blog (to the right -->). We'd love to see contributions from friends, family, neighbors, and community partners!

2. Support the Classroom Coin Drive. Classrooms will collect coins from October 20th - 30th. Students can bring in any denomination of coins. And we're inclusive around here: BILLS count as "coins", too. Students love competing to see which class brings in the most coins, and they win a prize in the end for whoever wins! We are seeking classroom sponsors during the drive, too, so if you have a connection to a local business (or if you, grandparents, or anybody else are interested in sponsoring a classroom) contact Jill Pearson-Wood at 612-250-3401 or ptawaitepark@gmail.com.
Our goal is to have 100% of Waite Park families take part in some aspect of our Fall Fundraising campaign. Every donation, no matter how large or small, helps us reach our goal. If we all work together, we can accomplish great things for Waite Park!
