The meeting's main topic is engagement and inclusion of special ed students and families in the school community.  This month's guest speaker is Heather Lindstrom from the MPS Office of Family and Community Engagement. OFCE is also rolling out a new initiative, informational kiosks in the community. They want input from parents on how to make the kiosks user friendly for students with disabilities. We will also learn about a community resource, Metro Center for Independent Living.
